How We Work
GV Food Transport uses specialist hot boxes to ensure meals prepared in offsite kitchens reach their destination without any loss of quality.
Our drivers pick up the hot boxes or ‘thermoboxes’ containing the freshly prepared meals and deliver the food to schools, hospitals, and care homes.
After lunchtime service, the kitchen staff packs up all the dining equipment and hot boxes, which are then collected by our driver and returned to the production kitchen, ready for the next day.
Our drivers are often asked to do extra errands within their routes. Cookery equipment, ingredients and even paperwork can be picked up at the same time as the meals.
